CIDH Students Excel on National Dental Hygiene Exam

Congratulations to all CIDH students and graduates who were successful on the January 2012 writing of the National Dental Hygiene Certification Exam. CIDH had the highest success rate of all private Accredited Ontario Dental Hygiene programs. CIDH test scores exceeded the national average test scores in 8 of the 9 categories.

CIDH Curriculum Receives Approval

The Canadian Institute of Dental Hygiene (CIDH Hamilton)is pleased to announce that its revised curriculum has been approved by the Government of Ontario as meeting the National Competencies (Entry to Practice Competencies and Standards for Canadian Dental Hygienists – January 2010).

Articulation Agreement

CIDH Hamilton graduates can now use their Diploma in Dental Hygiene as a stepping stone towards getting a university degree.

CIDH Hamilton is proud to announce that it has signed an articulation agreement with the Open Learning division of Thompson Rivers University (TRU-OL) in Kamloops, British Columbia. With this agreement, CIDH graduates will have earned approximately 2 years of credits towards a Bachelor of Health Science Degree or Bachelor of General Studies Degree from TRU-OL. CIDH Hamilton is the first and only Canadian private accredited dental hygiene program which has such an agreement with TRU-OL.
